Bill Rowe

Unfortunately, Bill Rowe, passed away after he acted in Bamboo Shark. Bill's talent manager for nearly twenty years, Cathy Parker, wrote a very touching eulogy of which we have included excerpts of below.

"Bill was a good man….an uncomplicated man.  He was a quiet unassuming “gentle giant” who loved being around all types of people.  Everyone loved “Sweet Bill”, the name given to him by my then employee, Alicia.  He was a man of few words.  He was a deep thinker and never did I hear him complain….even when he was not feeling well.  I would ask him if he was well enough to go to NY for an audition and he would always say that he was fine.  I don’t remember a time that he refused to go on an audition…Whether it would be in Baltimore, Philadelphia or NYC; He would never say “NO”. And he would walk everywhere.  He would never take a cab. Bill Rowe will never be forgotten.  You will always be able to pick up a video and watch some of the films he was in; such as the film Philadelphia, where he was in a scene with Denzel Washington.  He booked so many commercials, industrials and print ads that there are three full drawers in my office with his name on them.  Even now, you can see him on the local channels - in a Pennsylvania Lottery Commercial, sitting there with that big smile. I will miss that smile.  I will miss his visits.  I will miss making food packages for him. And most of all, I will miss that deep voice of his on his answering machine saying 'BILL ROWE'."
