Jeff Keglovitz

Grip: Grips are the lighting and rigging technicians in the film and video industries. They make up their own department on a film set and are led by a key grip.

About Jeff: Jeff is a graduate of Kutztown University with a B.S. in Electronic Media (2006). Jeff is also the champion of the Mental Ward Films Drunken Spelling Bee 2007 ("I believe we have videotaped proof of that historic event"). In his free time, Jeff loves to be outdoors kayaking, camping, and biking. In addition, he likes to createmotion graphics and collect vinyl records.

Funniest Moment on Set: Anytime we're filming something crazy and have to pause for technical reasons. Nothing is funnier than calmly discussing how we could avoid casting shadows on a topless model or asking an extra to cheat his plumber's cleavage slightly toward the camera.

Other Projects: Since Bamboo Shark, I've gripped on episodes of 'Forensic Files', 'Body of Evidence', a comedy short 'Caravia Nights', and created visual FX for the comedy short 'Superhero Dave'. Coming up, a dramatic short film 'Coal' and a feature length drama 'The Stable Vices' (working title).

Favorite Movie: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

Favorite Actor: Bill Murray

Worst Job: Refereeing youth soccer matches. The kids were easy to keep in line, the parents on the other hand...

Dennis Ward in Three Words: Inspired, Loyal Lunatic
