Bamboo Shark is a hilarious comedy about three college students who drop out of school to make a movie and quickly realize no one will ever take them seriously without a star, so they decide to do what anybody would do without money. They steal a short bus, find hidden mob money, forge a fake production company, get help from Mickey Rooney (yes, Academy Award winner Mickey Rooney), and hire a bunch of celebrity impersonators to impersonate celebrities. Now they need to run from the mafia thugs, the Hollywood thugs, school bus thug, and the police, all while trying to shoot a movie.

The movie stars the aforementioned Academy Award winner Mickey Rooney, Johnny "Roastbeef" Williams of Goodfellas fame, and features over 50 celebrity impersonators. The impersonators range from such famous faces as Michael Jackson impersonator from Scary Movie 3 and 4, Sean Connery, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steven Spielberg, and Ray Charles (see The Cast for a complete listing). The film was shot in high definition using the same camera model that Robert Rodriguez used to film Spy Kids and George Lucas used to film the last three Star Wars movies on. This movie has the distinct privilege to be Mickey Rooney’s first high definition film.

We have had the pleasure of filming Bamboo Shark in New York City, Las Vegas, Boston, Philadelphia, Harrisburg (PA), Lancaster (PA), Reading (PA), Kutztown (PA), Pittsburgh, Harlem, and York (PA). We have not only had incredible locations to film at, but have had even better extras (hundreds) that have partaken in this wonderful movie as well!
